Hosting Service Changes
If you are receiving this announcement, you may have hosting or managed DNS services with us.
|
|
We are upgrading and improving website hosting services and servers beginning 11/22/2019.
|
|
|
HOSTING
We expect no downtime for any services we are providing for you. These changes are to improve your site and visitors experience, while increasing security and protection against internet threats.
|
IMPORTANT: This upgrade will require changes to your domains DNS to complete the changes. We would be happy to help you make these changes, or manage your DNS for you. All changes will be scheduled out and absolutely no immediate rush, or deadline, to switch over to the upgraded services.

There are a lot of bells and whistles with this change, however these are the ones that you will most benefit from:
|
- SITES: All domain hosting is now specific and specialized only for WordPress websites
- SPEED: FASTER hosting. All websites performance will increase do to hardware and network improvements
- OPTIMIZED: Servers are now optimized specifically for WordPress, meaning faster load times
- SECURITY: Improved security and protection to hosted websites. New server protection hardware and software will actively scan and monitor for threats - virus, malware and hack attempts.
- SSL CERTIFICATES: We will be providing SSL certificates for all hosted domains and sub-domains to protect site and site visitors. This is a $100/yearly value per site.
- UPDATES: Automated updates for WordPress and plugins. Our services will now handle automatic updates.
- BACKUPS: Automatic site backups. Our servers will now take daily snap shots of every site and retain for 30-days. Snapshots can restore a website in minutes or can be downloaded.

DNS
|
We have teamed up with CloudFlare to provide improved DNS management services. Our former DNS solution will remain intact until 6/1/2020, however CloudFlare is worth the move. Its at the top of the food chain in size and technology - 800% better in every way, and highly recommended.

|
PRICE CHANGES (effective 1/1/2020)
We are no longer billing per site usage (as long as usage is within reason).
|
- $20/mth per site hosted (flat rate)
- $1/mth per forwarded site
- $3/mth managed DNS (up to 10 domains)

SCHEDULING
|
Beginning 11/22/2019 to 12/31/2019, we will slowly migrate websites on a pre-scheduled basis. If you would like to pre-schedule a time for this change, we will need to obtain access to your DNS settings prior and at the conclusion of the change. We will help you go through this process to ensure a smooth transition for you and your site.
