Using Strong Passwords

Common sense tells us that we should, but reality holds us far from that. The passwords we used are common names of pets, places or other memorable references that draw meaning to us. Often these passwords are slightly skewed, backwards, forwards, with a number or capitalized letter as an attempt to meet specified minimum requirements. And more often than not the same ones secure as assortment of accounts (bank, social media, utilities, email), in an effort to be memorable.

The cost of being memorable bares a heavey price for us all – our privacy. Sold and used as a commodity, identities are swept away as a result of ignoring common sense.
